Charity
by David Nikac
Wednesday December 5th 2007 many students stayed after school to help with a shoebox drive. Mr. Carimelli and Ms. Morre held this drive, two of our theology department teachers. We all were given a shoebox that we filled with candy, hygiene supplies such as: tooth brush, toothpaste, deodorant, and shampoo, and toys such as: hot wheels, baseballs, transformers to any toy that can fit in a shoebox for kids in third world countries. After they all were filled with everything we wrap them in wrapping paper. We are going to try to hold more shoebox drives this year.
Mount Saint Michael hold many charities and drives from the school with their annual raffles to teachers and students charity funds in class. Many clubs that Mount has to offer holds their own drive to help out.
