Movie @ Mount

Do you know what took place at Mount St. Michael on Columbus Day? From an interview with our school president, Dr Miserandino, Tower reporters discovered that cameras invaded the locker room to film a movie about a girl’s basketball team.
In the comedy, “The Winning Season,” an independent film by Gigi Productions, a women’s basketball team embarks on a journey to a winning basketball season. The girls took over our sports teams’ locker room and coaches’ office to film a scene.
The producers of the movie selected our school because they liked the feel, the sense, and even the smell of our locker room. There were no major stars in the film, but this movie is very captivating. The movie is not yet finished but is to be over and done with shortly. The producers of the film hope the film will be picked up by a major production company so that this movie can be on the worldwide big screen. The movie is to be premiered in three different film festivals: Cannes Film Festival (CFF) in France, Sundance Film Festival ( SFF) in Colorado, and in the New York City Film Festival right here in the Big Apple. Unfortunately, the film will not be shown at our school, but the producers will inform us when and where the movie will be showing. Mount thanks the producers for their donation towards our school, and for selecting the Mount as a movie set.
