Mother-Son Dance

Students from Mount Saint Michael Academy brought their mothers to the 11th annual Mother and Son Dance, on January 28, 2009, in the school’s gym. The decorations and the theme were based on disco. Many students came in interesting outfits and other embellishments. This was possible because of Myra Nolan, Addie Scipioni, and Brother John. At the beginning of the event, the pioneers of this wonderful night presented a speech, in which there was a moment of silence due to the passing of Mr. DeMairo. After the speech, the guests were tended to the buffet line, where they were served Italian foods such as pasta, lasagna, chicken in alfredo sauce, etc. There was also a photo booth to capture the memory of this special night. At the conclusion of the event, our guests reported how much of a fun and enjoyable evening they had at this event.
