Mount Saint Michael Academy

The Gospel teaches us that the Kingdom of God and its gifts of love, peace and justice are within us.  The Department of Guidance and Counseling participates in the process of Christian education by helping students see and experience the giftedness and the power which the Gospel assures them that they possess.  Thus enabled, students can more effectively respond to the challenge of Jesus to love and serve their neighbor.

In this spirit, the Department of Guidance and Counseling aims to:

• Promote the positive mental health of the students;
• Help students to realize and utilize their personal, inter-personal and academic potentials;
• Assist students in formulating realistic plans for their future beyond Mount Saint Michael Academy;
• Help students to overcome impediments to optimal functioning and personal growth.
