On December 21, 2005 several members of the Afro-Caribbean Club and Campus Ministries delivered miniature Christmas Trees to St. Dominic's retirement home. The trees were then given to residents who would have no one to celebrate Christmas with.

Mrs. Terry Paul, moderator of the Afro-Caribbean Club, distributed the miniature trees out to various groups on campus. All together 18 trees were decorated and delivered. Some of the groups that designed a tree were Student Council, Marist Youth, Campus Ministries, The Varsity Basketball Team, The Varsity Track Team, The Afro-Caribbean Club, The Alumni Office, and several members of the administrative offices also designed trees. There were several others who were not named but we take this time to thank them for their support.

The trees were then collected and put on display in the Main Lobby on the second floor for everyone to view. Then the trees were hand delivered to the residents of St. Dominic's. Once there the Mount students took some time to sit and chat with these residents, explaining who decorated the tree and to share some Christmas spirit. The Afro-Caribbean Club and Campus Ministries would like to thank all the clubs who took some time to decorate a tree. Mr. Van Bomel would like to personally thank Mrs. Terry Paul for her dedication in ensuring this project was a success.
